TEEN DRIVERS (MINORS)

 Phase 1: Student must successfully complete 30 hours of classroom instruction with a State of Hawaii Certified Education Instructor.

Phase 2: Student must successfully complete 6 hours of Behind the Wheel (BTW) Instruction with a State of Hawaii Certified Drivers Ed. Instructor.

Phase 3: Student must complete 50 hours Supervised Driving (40 Daytime driving/10 Night driving). Student Parent/Legal Guardian must Notarize the Affidavit verifying the student has at least 50 hours of driving with a licensed driver 21 + years of age.  The completed Notarized Affidavit must be submitted to the BTW Instructor in exchange for the BTW Certificate of Completion. Affidavit will be retained by instructor.

 1. Classroom & Behind the Wheel Combo  $525.00

• $100 deposit must accompany application to reserve a seat for the classroom session; deposit will be applied to fee; full payment must be received by the first day of selected course.  Deposit will be forfeited for cancellations less than 5 business days prior to the start of selected course. 
• Payments may be made by Cash or Check payable to Aloha Automotive Academy at PO Box 213 Wailuku HI 96793. Returned checks will incur a $30.00 service fee.
• No refund if cancellation is received less than 5 business days prior to the meeting of the first class.
• Behind the Wheel lessons require a 24 hour notice of cancellation or a $75.00 fee will be assessed.
• Aloha Automotive Academy reserves the right to cancel or make changes based on low enrollment.
• Student must wear dry clothing (no swimsuits) and footwear.
• Family members/friends will not be allowed to remain on site while class is in session.
• No smoking, using profanity, disrupting class and fighting with other students and/or instructors.
• Students must have Learners Permit on their person during Behind the Wheel Instruction.
• Cell phone use will NOT be allowed when class is in session.  If there is an emergency while your child is in session,  PLEASE CALL KAUKA KANANI at (808) 264-1241.
• Failure to   follow these rules may result in the following disciplinary action:

1. Dismissal from class (parent/legal guardian will be notified immediately)
2. Forfeiture of class time (student will have to retake class)
3. Expulsion (no retakes or refund will be given to an expelled student)

• The Parent/Guardian authorizes Aloha Automotive Academy to use the students name, photograph or video at any time and in any manner in connection with its advertising, publicity and public relations programs.
